This is a group for those who enjoy theatre, specifically, reading and discussing plays. We explore the work of British, European and American dramatists in an informal atmosphere.

We have read plays by American dramatists, eg Arthur Miller and Tennessee Williams; European playwrights, eg Moliere and Ibsen, and English writers such as Oscar Wilde, Terence Rattigan and Alan Bennett amongst others.

We meet once a month and usually manage to read a play in a session. Speaking parts are allocated at random, with characters' names being picked out of a hat, so to speak!
