The group is 'ticking over' at present,but new applications are welcome. If sufficient members are forthcoming we will restart this group to meet once every fortnight to read previously distributed handouts.

We would at each meeting read selections from selected Greek classics,always including Homer's Iliad or Odyssey, and probably both.

The handouts contain the selected texts,together with line-by-line translations,and,I hope, sufficient background information and grammatical commentary is given during the meetings to enable understanding of the language and background of the chosen pieces.
