We are delighted to welcome back Isa Lamb to our Open Meeting after her absorbing talk about her Kings Garden initiative last year.

She promised to return, after tantalising us with information about her talk on ‘The British Atlantis’, so it is with pleasure that we announce her talk and encourage you to attend.

Synopsis … for your information and imagination:

UK ….. BC - a journey to Doggerland, now under the North Sea. We will travel back some 40,000 years for a brief look at what life was like for Stone Age man, where we’ll meet some of the terrifying animals we would have lived alongside.

Our focus will be on the different Mammoths and what their fossils tell us about the lives.

There will be many fossils to handle at the end of the session. Don’t forget to bring your spear!
